We recommends viewing our video streams using the
Windows Media Player. The requirements for the Windows Media System are as
follows:
Minimum System Requirements
-
A Windows 95/98/2000/NT system. Macintosh and UNIX are not
supported.
-
High color video card and monitor capable of minimum 800x600
resolution.
-
64 Megabytes or more is recommended.
-
Sound card and speakers.
-
Broadband Internet is recommended. Faster connections allow
higher quality webcast reception.
-
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later is recommended.
-
Microsoft Media Player version 6.4 or later is required.
If you are behind a corporate Firewall or Proxy server, you may
need to have it configured to pass the webcast video stream.
See specific requirements for details.
Media Player Configuration
Windows systems must be running Windows 95/98/2000/NT with Microsoft Media
Player 6.4 or later installed.
Macintosh and UNIX
Neither Macintosh nor UNIX clients are supported for Webcasts. Although
Microsoft provides a Media Player version for the Macintosh, it is lacking
critical capabilities that are needed to view a Webcast. We have had some
success viewing Webcast on a PowerPC Macintosh running Windows 98 using Virtual
PC. Note that even though this does work, it is an unsupported implementation.
